Today I finished updating our Christmas card database. (You can call me a procrastinator. It's OK -- I deserve it.)
You know that red and green basket of Christmas cards that's been sitting by my computer since January? Yeah -- I tackled it today. And it's only October! I figure I've still got at least two months to go!!
I know I am a chronic procrastinator. That's why my book has not yet been written, my closet has not yet been organized and I get a panicky feeling in my chest every time I think about cleaning out my office. Yikes!
But actually, it's OK. Because I married a guy who is a chronic UN-procrastinator. A do-it-right-now-and-get-it-over-with kind of person. Love you, Tony!!
Besides, it doesn't matter when I update the Christmas letter spreadsheet, so long as it gets finished before we go to make out our new cards this holiday season. And actually, I don't typically procrastinate on those. Last year, I had our letter written and family photo taken in late November, I believe. Not bad, huh?
There will be no room for procrastination this year, either. I just checked the list and it turns out we have 92 people to send Christmas cards to. Yes, 92!!! As in, almost 100!! Better get started!!
